Cary Timmons' vocal style can best be described as dynamic like Rascall Flats, rangy like Roy Orbison, soulful like Luther Vandross, feeling like Keith Whitley, smooth like George Strait, and gentle like Marty Raybon. His songs drip with beautiful melodies and amplify feelings and messages in their poetic lyrics. He says he learned to write songs by studying such writers as Skip Ewing, Gary Burr, Dean Dillon, Don Schlitz, and Paul Overstreet. His debut album release "Plastic Palmtree Paradise" due out in 2011 will combine all of his many influences into one collection embodying where he came from and who he is.
