March 2010 I'm heading for Nashville!!

What a thrill to be given a VHM and to be in the Top Ten runners up by the fabulous Gary Allen from the Charlie Daniels Band (The Devil went down to Georgia) JJ Cale (After Midnight, Cocaine) Gary said he played my music for the neighbourhood kids and "they all danced around and acted silly". Gary is the editor of the 'Music City Beat' and he has toured with the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen ZZ Top and many others I am delighted with this recognition, what a buzz!!!

AUGUST 2008 (as a first time entrant) it was thrilling to be a finalist in ASA Australian Songwriters Association Contest 2008-Lyrics having three songs on the shortlist and one equal tenth, I have written the melodies and lyrics on this Australian Children's album and collaborated with a great Melbourne musician Chris Wilson of Chris Wilson Recordings Melbourne. Chris has done the arrangements and plays piano, drums, guitar and has produced and mastered the album. This album has some dreamy bedtime lullabies, some talk of love, others are fun songs and a real foot tapper that tells of Australian animals coming together to form an Aussie bush band which is the title track on the album THE BONZA BOBBY DAZZLER BUSH BAND. There are four vocalists on the album Chris, the lovely voice of Deb Morgan, Nicholas Plant and Glen and there are lots of uniquely Aussie expressions......Enjoy!!
